Getting Started With Sitecore Send : Part 2
Adding a sender:
Definition: A sender is the name
and email address that your recipients see in the From field of their inbox
when they receive your newsletter. The default sender for your account is the
account owner with Sitecore Send. You can add as many senders to your account
as you want.
Add a Sender: The sender is the email
address that your recipients see in the From field when they receive your
newsletter.
To add a Sender follow below
steps –
- On the menu bar, click, Settings.
- On the menu on the left, click Senders.
- In the top right-hand corner, click Add new.
- In the Create new sender dialog, fill out the Name and Email of the sender and click Save. On the Senders page, once you have set up the TXT records correctly, the SPF and DKIM [The Sender Policy Framework (SPF) and the Domain Keys Identified Mail (DKIM) are components of email sender authentication. They are necessary for elements that help your email marketing campaigns be delivered to your recipients' inboxes instead of their spam folders.] setup check boxes are selected.
- When the sender passes all checks, the sender receives a verification email message with activation link. After the sender clicks the activation link, and the sender is verified, you'll see Verified under the Verified column. If the sender does not pass all checks, it will appear as rejected, and the Verified check box is empty. This can be due to the following:
Ø No website was found
associated with your sender address domain.
Ø The reputation of your
website, your domain, or your sender's address does not meet the set threshold.
